Join BICA and Bonanza for a BNNZA retrospective runway fashion show, modeled by Buffalo’s fiercest weirdos. Bonanza is a collaborative art practice between Oakland, CA based artists Lindsay Tully, Conrad Guevara, and Lana Williams. They think about BNNZA, their fashion line, as art that literally touches your skin and their runway shows are platforms to highlight unique people. If you think you’re weird and fierce and you’re ready to walk the runway, get in touch!
This show includes a remixing of looks and pieces from previous seasons of BNNZA fashion which have taken inspiration from airline aesthetics, Purple Rain, survivalism, and what they found at the dump. This program is part of their exhibition at the Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art, Charmed: A Bonanza Retrospective, on view through June 2.
