Hannah Lin: “Fringe Scenarios”

06.07.24 – 07.12.24

Works that blur the line between sculpture and utility, talking the objects and materials we encounter in our daily domestic lives and recasting them into new characters.

Hannah Lin is a designer and ceramicist currently living in Buffalo, NY. Her work merges designed objects and furniture with clay handbuilding techniques to form objects that straddle the line between utility and sculpture. She likes to explore the mundane challenges and experiences of being human through the lens of deadpan humor. She received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016.
