Lucas Burzon: World Spins

Lucas Burzon is a photographer and visual artist based out of Brooklyn, NY. Studying photography at New York Film Academy and photographing for over a decade, Lucas has expanded his medium into other forms of visual art such as painting, collage, sewing, and drawing.

World Spins is a representation of moments in time and generations that have bled into the present. It is the repetitive actions that seep into techniques and concepts, offering a plane in which it caresses, keeping what has passed alive. It is the birth of new found ideas that sprout from everchanging light and shadows. Tomorrow never knows, the past is definitive, and the present is forever. Family comes and goes, dogs sing, carpets are cleaned, winners lose and the world spins.

Opening Reception March 7th, 6-10pm at BICA in the Project Space. On view until April 12th.
